POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Gas Scheduler reports directly to the Manager, Gas Scheduling, and will be part of a team that is responsible for handling the daily gas requirements and scheduling activities for all Cheniere LNG facilities. This includes submitting nominations to 3rd party pipelines; regular monitoring of pipeline bulletin boards; tracking all activity in internal accounting systems; confirmation with upstream/downstream counterparties including resolution of any discrepancies; working with the LNG facilities to accommodate changes throughout the gas day. This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Houston office, Monday through Friday.
KNOWLEDGE:
General understanding of respective pipeline nomination procedures, tariffs, transportation services available, impacts of constraints, etc. Candidate is preferred to also have a good understanding of the US pipeline infrastructure, specifically pipes on which Cheniere does business. Additional qualifications include strategic thinking skills in order to have a basic understanding of trading decisions and be able to provide daily input on options for optimization.

Education and Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or Accounting preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant business experience may be considered.
