Job Details:

The Scale House Operator:

• weighs the trailers of full cages as they arrive from the farm; keeps a record on a separate back dock sheet and ensure it matches what is entered in the system.

• Weighs the trailers of empty cages keeps records in the system and back dock report.

• Records all weights on appropriate paperwork and gives the information to the plant receiving clerk; coordinates the schedule of the trailers to the plant live receiving department; maintains copies of the weight tickets and distributes to the appropriate areas; weigh outside trucks as necessary and provides drivers with the weight ticket

• answers phone

• general housekeeping duties in workspace.

• keep management informed of any issues with scale or holding area; and along with any other task as assigned by supervisor.

Need:

• good computer skills and ability to work closely with drivers.

• Must be willing and able to lift occasionally 25lb.

• Could be subject to temperature ranging from 0 to 100 Degrees occasionally when checking fans or birds in all climate conditions.

Requirements:

Three months of accumulative Operator Experience

Rehire Criteria:

·Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days.

·Also, if you have worked at Tyson 3 times or more you will not be eligible for rehire.
