The Role – Saw Operator

This is hardworking, hands-on work—hot, heavy, and challenging—but it comes with the reward of great compensation, benefits, and long-term career stability.

What You’ll Do:

• Set up and operate metal cutting saws to precise specifications
• Install saw blades, set gauges, and adjust saw speeds based on materials
• Receive, store, and route bar stock efficiently and safely
• Operate overhead cranes for loading/unloading materials
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Participate in training programs and contribute to continuous improvement
• Perform daily maintenance on saw equipment

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Solid math, blueprint reading, and basic computer skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Ability to handle heavy physical work (up to 100 lbs occasionally)
• Self-motivated with initiative and attention to detail
• Manufacturing experience a plus

The estimated pay range for this position is the lowest and highest range we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The actual pay offered to a candidate will depend on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, seniority, geographic location and prevailing minimum wage, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.
