SAW OPERATOR

Position Type:  Permanent, Full Time

Location: Greenville, Michigan

Reports to: Shift Supervisor

Mission

As a Saw Operation, you are responsible for pricing machining areas with workable material and performing daily inventory transactions. 

• Moving and manipulating large graphite or insulation blocks with a fork truck.
• Operate band saws and other medium equipment safely and efficiently.
• Work well within a team
• Promote and emphasize safety
• Visual inspection of parts requiring such and signing of inspection forms.
• Conducts oneself as a model Mersen employee and treats employees with courtesy and respect.
• Conducts themselves in a professional and ethical manner as an example for all employees. 
• Supports Mersen company policies, rules, and core values. 

Required Skills

• Basic math skills and ability to work with decimals and fractions. 
• Ability to lift and maneuver 50 pounds.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with basic measuring tools.

$17.75 and up

2nd Shift Premium 15%

3rd Shift Premium 10%
