Shifts Available:
1st shift: 5am-3pm (M-TH), overtime on Friday's as needed (8 hours, 5am-1pm)
Summary:
As a Saw Operator, you will be a vital part of our manufacturing team, utilizing your core skills in mechanical knowledge, manufacturing, basic math, and machining to operate saw equipment efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gather extrusion needed from racking
- Measure and cut aluminum to work instructions
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain proper dimensions and tolerances
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications
Requirements:
- Experience working in a production or fabrication environment is preferred
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills as well as the ability to read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Ability to assemble and fabricate components
- Understanding of tooling and tooling requirements for different machining operations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
- Reliability and proven attendance at past jobs

Physical Demands:
- Required to lift [15] pounds frequently/occasionally
- Must be able to push or pull loaded carts weighing up to [75] pounds. This can be a two-person operation/task if needed
- Required to stand for [10 hours] of the shift, sitting infrequently (breaks)
- Must be able to retrieve some parts (for recuts) using an OSHA approved ladder up to 6’ off the ground
- Occasionally required to bend, kneel, or crouch
- Ability to reach overhead, or below shoulder height, and at arm’s length
- Ability to perform tasks requiring fine motor skills such as typing, writing, or using small tools
- The work environment involves exposure to noise
