Job Description

Aegis is partnered with a rapidly growing industrial equipment manufacturer expanding operations to support a strong backlog of custom machinery and data center infrastructure projects. This organization has been operating for over a century and is significantly increasing production capacity, including launching a second shift.

They are seeking experienced Saw Operators to support fabrication operations.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Operate horizontal band saw (Clausing Kalamazoo or similar)

• Read and interpret blueprints and cut lists

• Set up saws for various metal types, lengths, and angles

• Verify dimensions using calipers, tape measures, and squares

• Maintain tolerances required for downstream machining and welding

• Maintain a safe, organized workspace

• Support overtime needs to meet production deadlines

Requirements:

• 5+ years horizontal band saw experience

• Experience cutting steel and aluminum

• Blueprint reading proficiency

• Strong understanding of tolerances

• Ability to work overtime

• Tolerance Analysis
• Blueprint Reading

• Band Saw
