Position Summary: Located in Richmond and Ashland

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Saw Operator / Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating manufacturing equipment, reading blueprints, performing fabrication processes, and producing quality parts according to specifications. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate saw machines to cut metal and manufacture parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, and specifications.
• Measure, mark, and verify dimensions using tape measures.
• Perform cutting, drilling, bending, grinding, and assembly operations.
• Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
• Make machine adjustments and perform routine troubleshooting to maintain efficient production.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished products safely.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in machine operation, fabrication, metalworking, or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read shop drawings.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform measurements and material calculations.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
