The Boeing Company is currently seeking a SAP S/4 Solution Quality and Release Management Manager to join the SAP S/4 Center of Excellence to manage the Solution Quality and Release Management team in either Seattle, WA; Kent, WA; Tukwila, WA; St. Louis City, MO; Hazelwood, MO; Dallas, TX; Ridley Park, PA; or Arlington, VA.

The focus of the role is to manage the Information Technology (IT) Software Solution Delivery for solution quality and Release Management services of the Supply Chain Division with the Information Technology & Data Analytics (IT&DA). The selected candidate will lead and manage the SAP testing automation efforts, ensuring high-quality SAP solutions through the development, execution, and maintenance of automated test suites, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes and quality assurance. You will also ensure successful and timely SAP software releases by planning, coordinating, and executing release activities, managing change and risk, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage and integrate employee activities across Information Technologies including infrastructure design and administration, application analysis and design, information management, architecture, computing security, computing project support and/or process analysis

  • Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals

  • Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of test automation and build regression packages

  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Manage and provide developmental opportunities for employees

  • Maintain and distribute the SAP release calendar

  • Release transports for project and maintenance releases

  • Liaison with basis and project teams to refresh test systems

  • Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality

  • Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates

  • Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes

  • Conduct release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and business go/no-go reviews

  • Drive test automation using Tricentis tools and bring efficiencies in regression testing

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership

  • 5+ years of experience within information technology

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP release management and/or test automation

  • Able to travel both domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Certifications in SAP related technologies

  • 5+ years of experience communicating effectively with multiple levels of an organization

  • 5+ years of experience using Information Technology (IT) systems

Summary pay range: $123,250 - $178,250
