Job Summary: Responsible for the day to day sanitation of the plant, warehouse, and outside areas.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, safe chemical handling, etc.
Responsible for adhering to food safety and quality system requirements by committing to meet all pertinent regulatory, customer and SQF requirements.
Follow Current Good Manufacturing Practices.
Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work environment.
Follow cleaning chemicals and sanitizer procedures.
Trained to use floor scrubber to wash floors
Follow the cleaning procedure for equipment in plant.
Expected to work in all areas as needed
All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Requires initiative.
Self-starter.
Must have the ability to think and draw natural conclusions.
Must have the ability to adapt to changing situations.
Must be willing to work nights and weekends.
Must be able to work as part of a team.
Must have basic math skills.
Must have good verbal and written communications skills.
Must be able to handle 50 lbs. or more.
Must be able to clean and inspect all MDM equipment.
Must be able to work in areas with extreme temperature variances in wet environment.
Must be able to work with chemicals.
Must be pallet jack, sky lift and forklift qualified (or be willing to become qualified).
Must be willing to work overtime as necessary, including weekends.
Must be able to work from ladders and raised platforms.
Attention to detail is a must.
Must be able to disassemble and reassemble equipment.
