Pay - 23.65/Hr.
Job Description:
- Responsible for breaking down equipment, cleaning, sanitizing work areas and setting up equipment for inspection and start-up, while also adhering to Core Safety, food safety policies, and company policies.
- Responsible for the dry pickup area and visually checking area for cleanliness.
- Must be willing and able to break down and set up equipment where needed.
- Must be willing and able to use high-pressure hose to rinse area and floor.
- Must be willing and able to use various chemicals to foam and scrub floor.
- Ability to work closely with Quality Assurance and USDA. Uphold the principals of SQF 2000.
- Work schedule will vary depending on production.
Requirements:
- Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent.
- Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.
- Must be willing and able to become certified in Tyson’s Lock Out/Tag Out program.
- Must be willing and able to pinch/grip product/equipment.
- Must be willing and able to become familiar with safe operation and use of high-pressure hoses and sanitation chemicals.
- Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to bending, twisting, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
- May occasionally be required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.
- Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner
Internal: Must not have more than 5 attendance occurrences. Must not have a disciplinary suspension on file in the past 6 months. Must be in your current position for a minimum of six (6) months unless this job is a higher class than you currently hold.
