As a Sandblaster, you will play a crucial role in preparing surfaces for finishing by removing rust, paint, and other contaminants. Responsibilities

• Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for painting or coating.
• Inspect surfaces before and after sandblasting to ensure quality standards are met.
• Mix and apply abrasive materials according to specifications.
• Maintain and troubleshoot sandblasting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
• Document work performed and report any issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training is a plus.
• Proven experience as a sandblaster or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with various sandblasting techniques and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in sandblasting.
