Tagger-Assembly Production Associate

Momentum Textiles & Wallcovering, a leading supplier and distributor of contract textiles and wallcovering is seeking a full time Tagger-Assembly Production Associate in Greensboro, NC.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, have a solid work ethic, and strong organizational skills.

POSITION PURPOSE:

To perform all manual and clerical tasks associated with the sample tagger/production process and to perform additional tasks as needed to meet business needs and ensure customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma
• 1-3 Years in tagging-assembly-production experience.
• Live in Greensboro or surrounding areas

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND KEY ACTIVITIES:

• Tag production memos using a manual process and/or an electric glue machine 
• Inspect fabric for flaws, direction and correct before placing memos into inventory
• Maintain accurate record keeping while receiving memos into inventory system
• Maintain inventory of tags. 
• May assist with order pulling if needed.
• Meet quality and productivity measures.
• Follow all safety procedures and policies.
• Clean and sweep work area and remove trash regularly.
• Work as part of a team by interacting and communicating with fellow associates in a cooperative, constructive manner.
• Hours M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is required to walk most of the day.
