We are seeking a Sample Lab Technician to join our Custom Sample Lab team!  This role will be an integral part of ensuring our customers our product samples in a timely manner. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Perform stability testing on all new formulas as required and communicates results to formulator.
• Maintain inventory of raw materials so compounded samples can be produced as needed.
• Operate large scale equipment to make 20kg liquids and up to 18kg dry powders.  Operate and troubleshoot equipment that alters the physical characteristics of a material.
• Generate worksheets based upon written formulations and follow agreed upon manufacturing procedures. Move inventory as required in JD Edwards (JDE) to maintain accurate counts.
• Prepare and package samples for shipment and ensure regulatory compliance. Cycle-count all inventory associated with the sample room.
• Seek to improve ways and methods to become more efficient and better serve the customer, both internal and external.  Provides back up for other Sample Room functions, Sample Coordinator, and Sample Technician positions.

What You’ll Bring:  

• Associates Degree preferred.  High School diploma required.
• 6 months to 1 year of laboratory experience preferred.
• Ability to learn general lab techniques and to prioritize.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform efficiently and amicably while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
