Job Overview:

🚀 Position Summary

WGV Electrical Systems seeks a Sales & Marketing Director to drive revenue growth and brand development in control panels, consoles, and cable/wire harness manufacturing.

This role owns sales execution and demand generation—building pipeline, closing business, and ensuring marketing delivers measurable results. You’ll also act as the in-house marketing lead, coordinating with an outsourced firm to align strategy with business goals.

🎯 Success in 6–12 Months

  • Build a strong sales pipeline
  • Increase RFQs, quotes, and orders
  • Improve quote-to-win and response time
  • Strengthen key accounts
  • Generate measurable marketing-driven leads (SQLs)
  • Deliver consistent pipeline, forecast, and ROI reporting

💼 Key Responsibilities

Sales & Growth

  • Own revenue strategy and pipeline development
  • Prospect new business (OEMs, industrial, contract manufacturing)
  • Manage full sales cycle (lead → close → launch)
  • Lead meetings, presentations, and negotiations
  • Partner with engineering/operations on solutions

Pricing & Conversion

  • Support margin-focused pricing and negotiations
  • Improve follow-up and quote conversion speed

Account Management

  • Build and execute key account plans
  • Maintain relationships and gather customer insights

Marketing & Demand Generation

  • Lead digital + traditional marketing (SEO, email, social, tradeshows)
  • Drive lead conversion and campaign performance
  • Develop content (case studies, capabilities, etc.)
  • Execute tradeshows with ROI tracking

Marketing Coordination

  • Manage outsourced marketing firm
  • Set priorities, review materials, track KPIs

Leadership & Alignment

  • Align sales, engineering, and operations
  • Lead pipeline reviews and planning cadence
  • Represent the company externally

✅ Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • B2B industrial sales or sales + marketing experience
  • Manufacturing knowledge (wire harnesses, assemblies, etc.)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills

Preferred:

  • OEM/industrial sales cycles & RFQs
  • CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Revenue-driven marketing experience
  • Tradeshow ROI experience
