Responsibilities:
- Must develop a core understanding of Spencer products and their related applications
- Interprets order requirements to coordinate assignments.
- Accurately complete high volume of order entry activity
- Prepare high volume of technical quotes and log/maintain customer opportunities.
- Reviews specifications and/or additions and discusses with appropriate department.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction for established accounts
- Handles customer requests for assistance or complaints and initiates response and/or takes corrective action as required.
- Works with Drafting to ensure accuracy of drawings.
- Responsible for original margins set and advising when of increases/decreases are needed
- Develops project time estimates and product cost comparisons, may assist in determining proper materials
- Identify opportunities for improved lead time
- Other responsibilities as assigned or directed
Experience Required:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, project management experience needed; ability to interface with all levels of engineering, procurement, and operations.
- Ability to Read and Pay Attention to Detail with Large Specifications, Schematics, Technical Drawings, and Blueprints
- Rotating Equipment Experience a plus
- Familiar w/ AutoCad and Able to Read/Review 2D/3D Drawings
- High Competency w/ Microsoft Office Products: Word, Office, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe, and Access
- Dedicated Work Ethic and Willing to Work the Hours Commensurate w/ a Sales Position
- Technical Competence with a Mechanical and Electrical Aptitude
- Some travel will be required, at most 5 to 10%
- Experience with Engineered Multistage Blowers and Vacuums and/or Engineered High Speed Blower Technologies a plus
Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred
