U.S. Electrical Services / Yale Electric Supply Company is searching for a Sales and Operations Trainee to join its Sales & Operations Training & Education Program (S.T.E.P.) This exciting 5-phase rotational program will start in Newark, DE and will include assignments that will vary throughout our local branches.
As a S.T.E.P. Trainee, you’ll complete an intensive 18-24 month training program that consists of up to five distinct phases: Counter Sales, Inside Sales, Project Management, Outside Sales, and Purchasing. This is a step-by-step sales training program that is experiential as well as on-line based. The pre-designed career path allows for a fixed period of time from training program entry to your desired position. You’ll work with your manager to determine your preferred course of study and then specialize in preparing for either a sales or management career.
Throughout the training program you’ll be mentored by one or more of our industry professionals. These experienced employees are a great source of support, industry knowledge, and business insights. During training your mentor will work with you to establish training tasks and goals. These will be designed to help you master new skills and knowledge; and we’ll track your achievements throughout the S.T.E.P. program.
