Position Overview
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Sales Administrative Assistant on behalf of a local client in Amarillo, TX. This role provides administrative and clerical support to the Sales and Office departments, helping ensure smooth operations and accurate recordkeeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the Sales team
- Enter and maintain data for warranties, customer complaints, NCMRs, and returns
- Maintain warehouse inventory records and documentation
- Assist with monthly reporting (drives sold, shipments, cancellations, backlog, etc.)
- Manage incoming calls and phone rollover duties
- Update calendars and coordinate mailouts
- Maintain and update customer records, including new entries in M2M system
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Scan, file, and organize sales orders and related documentation
- Assist leadership (President, Director of Sales, Business Development) with special projects
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Outlook)
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience with typing, filing, and multi-line phone systems
