Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Facilitate safety training sessions for employees to promote awareness and compliance.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, documenting findings and recommending improvements to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure safety protocols are integrated into daily operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training, and incidents.
  • Serve as a point of contact for safety-related inquiries and concerns from employees.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in safety regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a safety coordinator or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and educate employees at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CHST) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
