POSITION SUMMARY
The Body Fabricator is responsible for the metal fabrication of multiple components of the fire apparatus’ body. They must be able to read and follow blueprints/specifications to complete objectives. A Body fabricator welds, sands, cuts, and bolts materials to build the body of the fire apparatus. They will also mount body and pump house onto the subframe of the fire apparatus as well as fill in where needed within the shop.
