About the Role:

The Roustabout Pusher plays a critical role in supporting the operational efficiency and safety of oil and gas extraction and mining sites. This position involves coordinating and overseeing the movement and positioning of heavy equipment and materials to ensure smooth workflow and minimize downtime. The Roustabout Pusher is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and assisting in routine inspections and maintenance tasks. This role requires close collaboration with rig crews, equipment operators, and site supervisors to facilitate timely and effective operations. Ultimately, the Roustabout Pusher contributes to the overall productivity and safety standards of the extraction or mining site, ensuring that projects progress according to schedule and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols in oil and gas or mining environments.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
• Prior experience in a labor-intensive role within oil and gas extraction, mining, or a related industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) or equivalent safety training.
• Experience operating or directing heavy machinery such as forklifts, cranes, or bulldozers.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Familiarity with site-specific environmental and safety regulations.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in team-oriented environments.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and coordinate the movement of heavy machinery and materials on-site to support drilling and extraction activities.
• Assist in the setup, maintenance, and dismantling of equipment and infrastructure as required by operational needs.
• Monitor work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, reporting any hazards or incidents promptly.
• Collaborate with rig crews and supervisors to optimize workflow and address any operational challenges.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure operational readiness.
