Position Summary

Amplify Energy Corp. is an upstream oil and gas company focused on the production, and development of oil and gas properties. We are seeking a versatile and safety-focused Roustabout to support our Wyoming operations team. This position provides operational support across Plant Operations, Field Operations, and Maintenance activities, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient production performance. 

The successful candidate will perform a combination of maintenance, equipment repair, facility upkeep, construction support, and operational tasks while assisting plant, field, and maintenance personnel as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Support daily Plant Operations, Field Operations, and Maintenance activities.
• Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, assessment, and repair of production equipment and facilities.
• Repair and rebuild valves, pumps, motors, and associated production equipment.
• Assist with tank installation, maintenance, and repairs.
• Perform pipe fitting, pipe handling, and equipment installation projects.
• Haul pipe, rods, materials, and equipment to support operational activities.
• Conduct lease, wellsite, facility, and production equipment clean-up and maintenance.
• Perform general facility, yard, building, and grounds maintenance.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and electrical equipment.
• Operate company vehicles and equipment in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
• Safely operate heavy equipment, including backhoes, trackhoes (excavators), and road graders, to support construction, maintenance, facility improvements, and field operations.
• Perform routine inspections, safety observations, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Assist with emergency response, weather-related events, and special projects as required.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Safety-conscious with a commitment to safe work practices.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying weather and field conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three (3) years of oil and gas experience in roustabout, lease operator, maintenance, production, or related operations roles.
• Vocational training in maintenance, oil and gas production, welding, mechanics, or a related field.
• Experience supporting plant facilities, production operations, and maintenance activities.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as backhoes, trackhoes (excavators), and road graders is preferred but not required.
• Experience with welding, fabrication, equipment maintenance, or construction activities is a plus.

This version broadens the role into a true entry-level to mid-level hybrid operations position that can support plant operations, field operations, and maintenance, while making equipment operation a preferred qualification rather than a requirement.
