Description

A Rotomolding Associate is responsible for supporting both pre-mold and post-mold processes in a rotational molding environment. This includes weighing out plastic resin before molding and performing secondary operations such as trimming, water checking, and foaming. This position ensures that product is prepared accurately and that finished parts meet quality standard before moving to the next stage of production.

Essential Functions

  

  • Weigh and prepare plastic resin for molding operations according to production requirements.
  • Remove excess plastic and flash from molded parts using hand and power tools.
  • Inspect molded parts for leaks, cracks, or other defects using water checking.
  • Applying foam insulation to parts as required.
  • Place warm molded parts into cooling fixtures to maintain shape and dimensional accuracy.
  • Conduct visual and functional inspections of parts, and report operators as needed for non-conforming products.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.


Qualifications/ Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to work with a team and exercised good judgment in decision making
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Skilled in the use of various power, hand tools, and trimming knifes
  • Dependable and Reliable worker
  • Ability to work in a fast pace work environment
  • Frequently lift 50 lbs or more
  • Standing on feet for an extended period of time
