YOUR IMPACT:

The Robotics and Automation Lead oversees the development, implementation, and optimization of advanced automation system to improve manufacturing efficiency, safety, and quality. This role leads robotic programming, system integration, and operator training while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support design and process improvements. They also diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring the performance and reliability of robotic and automation systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This role would be primarily responsible for programming, installing, and optimizing automated systems, including robotics, PLCs, vision systems and peripheral controls components.
  • Performing routine maintenance and inspections, and making improvements to systems
  • Troubleshoot robotic systems, using knowledge of microprocessors, programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, sensors or feedback systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics.
  • Test performance of robotic assemblies
  • Develop robotic path motions to maximize efficiency, safety, and quality
  • Assist engineers in the design, configuration, or application of robotic systems
  • Training team members on how to use and maintain robots

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • This role requires an Associate’s Degree with 6+ years of experience with robotics, including Fanuc and ABB as well as PLC troubleshooting and minor programming with both Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms.
  • OR equivalent combination of education or experience.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting and mechanical experience.
  • Automotive manufacturing experience is preferred.

Pay Range:

$82,900.00 - $134,300.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
