Overview:The Robotic Painter Operator is responsible for the operation, sustainment, and quality performance of the robotic paint area. This role supports daily production through system operation, fault recovery, process assessment, and basic maintenance of robotic paint equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Robotic Operation — Operate the paint cell using the GUI and teach pendants to maintain steady production.
Fault Correction — Diagnose GUI fault messages, manually jog the robot when needed, and perform system/cell recovery procedures.
Process Assessment — Monitor part quality, identify deviations, and adjust robot pathwork to maintain paint standards.
Preventative Maintenance — Clean robot tips, observe wear or unusual performance, and document issues.
Reactive Maintenance — Support recovery during system failures and communicate issues to maintenance personnel.
