We are urgently seeking experienced FANUC Robot Programmers to support a high-priority automotive integration project in Toledo, OH
.
This role involves programming FANUC robots from scratch adhering strictly to General Motors (GM) GRS standards
. Candidates will spend an initial 1–2 weeks at our facility in Wixom, MI before deploying to the plant floor in Toledo, OH
.
Program from Scratch: Develop, modify, and debug robot programs from the ground up using FANUC Teach Pendant and GM GRS standards
.
Safety & Interlocks: Configure and validate Dual Check Safety (DCS), safe zones, cycle sequences, and PLC handshakes.
Vision Integration: Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot FANUC iRVision routines (2D or 3D Area Sensor/3DV)
.
Commissioning & Runoff: Support offline/online path teaching, mechanical/tooling alignments, and line dry-cycling through production ramp-up.
On-Site Plant Support: Troubleshoot cycle bottlenecks, faults, and optimize line efficiency on the production floor.
FANUC Robotics: Proven hands-on programming experience on FANUC robots (R-30iB/Plus controllers)

GM GRS Experience: Recent, real-world floor experience implementing GM Global Robotics Standards (GRS) (recent plant work required; certification alone is not sufficient)
.
Scratch Programming: Ability to write and structure complete robot programs from scratch without templates
.
Location & Flexibility: Ability to commute/work in Toledo, OH, with an initial 1–2 week training stint in Wixom, MI
.
FANUC iRVision: Hands-on experience with 2D or 3DV (3D Area Sensor) vision applications (strong 3DV experience qualifies for higher billing/pay rates)
.
Cobots: Prior experience integrating or programming collaborative robots (FANUC CR / CRX series)
