Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is seeking an RF Engineer to join our growing engineering team. MFC is a recognized designer, developer, and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. What You Will Be DoingThe RF Engineer will support the design, analysis, test, and manufacturing of RF systems and subsystems used in challenging, high-reliability defense applications. Responsibilities may include:
• Performing analysis and troubleshooting of RF circuits and modules, including amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits, and frequency conversion circuits
• Conducting RF requirements analyses and executing trade studies to optimize system performance
• Analyzing test data, including signal post-processing, visualization, and comparison with modeled data
• Using computing tools such as MATLAB for simulation, modeling, and data analysis
• Developing and optimizing signal processing algorithms to enhance RF and RADAR system performance
• Providing technical support to manufacturing operations to resolve assembly and test issues
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, systems engineers, circuit design engineers, and manufacturing support personnel
• Creating and maintaining simulation environments for performance evaluation and software validation

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related STEM field from an accredited university
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in RF engineering or a related discipline
• Coursework or professional familiarity with electromagnetics, RF, and/or microwave engineering
• Proficiency with MATLAB (intermediate level or above)
• Experience with or knowledge of RF/microwave test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, RF power meters, signal generators)
• Experience with signal processing concepts, simulation frameworks, or radar systems
• Familiarity with software development tools and languages (e.g., C/C++)
• Must be a US Citizen; must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance
Desired skills
• Related RF/microwave internship or early career experience in design, analysis, or test
• Effective communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Experience with RF/microwave circuit simulation or 3D electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, CST)
• Familiarity with RADAR signal processing techniques and passive RF sensor performance modeling
• Experience troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues
• Familiarity with reviewing and interpreting technical documentation such as specifications, schematic diagrams, and test data
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git/GitLab) and project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Knowledge of missile systems or SWAPC-constrained system environments
• Demonstrated academic or professional achievement in RF engineering
• Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance

Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $82,900 - $146,165. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
