Job Summary:
As the premier and long-time market leader in heat solutions, we are fired up to add to our team! As our Engineering Manager, you will serve as a strategic leader, driving innovation and accelerating development across multidisciplinary teams, engaging Engineers, Lab Technicians, and support staff. In close alignment with Product Management, you will ensure the timely execution of high-impact projects that advance the Heat Group’s business objectives. You will foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement - offering mentorship and strategic guidance while advancing engineering and testing frameworks to optimize the product development lifecycle.
We require a hands-on leader with deep technical expertise in HVAC design, thermodynamics, and system integration, as well as strong project management and team development capabilities.

Position Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of engineers in the design, development, and testing of HVAC heating systems.
Provide expert technical guidance and support across all phases of product development.
Make timely, confident decisions that balance technical rigor with business needs.
Align engineering capabilities with operational goals to ensure on-time product releases.
Track and analyze engineering KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, and product management teams.
Support the Director of Engineering in roadmap planning and capital expenditure forecasting.
Represent engineering priorities to executive leadership.
Stay current with industry codes, standards, and emerging technologies.
Conduct annual performance reviews and support team development.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
- 7+ years of engineering experience, including HVAC or thermal systems; 3+ years in a leadership or management role
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings and electrical schematics
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Strong understanding of gas-fired and electric heating systems
- Experience in the HVAC industry
- Proficiency in CAD, ERP systems, and project management tools
- Familiarity with UL, CSA, ANSI, and other relevant standards
- Ability to drive and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
