Abatement Technician Supervisor

Pay: $30.00 – $42.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time, Direct hire

Shift: Mon - Fri; 7am - 3pm

Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Abatement Technician Supervisor to support environmental restoration projects involving fire, water, and structural damage. This role includes hands-on abatement work, jobsite documentation, safety compliance, and leadership responsibilities overseeing field crews.

Responsibilities

• Perform abatement of regulated materials (including asbestos and lead) in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Set up job sites including containment barriers, safety signage, and air monitoring equipment
• Follow strict safety procedures and PPE requirements, including respirator use
• Document job progress using photos, notes, and mobile tracking systems
• Maintain accurate daily logs, time sheets, and job reports (T&M tracking)
• Operate restoration tools and equipment such as HEPA vacuums and negative air machines
• Follow project scope and direction from project managers
• Transport crew members and manage jobsite logistics
• Supervise, direct, and support abatement crews to ensure quality and efficiency
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and property managers
• Maintain cleanliness and proper care of tools and equipment
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License required
• OSHA 10 Certification preferred
• Wisconsin DHS Asbestos Abatement Supervisor certification preferred
• Experience in construction, restoration, or related field preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined or hazardous environments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
• Ability to read and follow job scopes and technical instructions
