Location: Birmingham, AL

Compensation: Performance-based earning potential of $80,000–$160,000 per year

We’re recruiting an experienced Residential Service Electrician for a home services company in Birmingham. In this role, you’ll diagnose electrical issues, make repairs, and complete installations that help homeowners keep their electrical systems safe and reliable.

The ideal candidate has strong residential service experience, communicates clearly with customers, and takes pride in safe, high-quality work.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose electrical problems and complete residential repairs, installations, and maintenance.

• Work on wiring, circuits, lighting, and electrical panels.

• Inspect systems, identify potential hazards, and recommend appropriate repairs or improvements.

• Explain findings and service options clearly to homeowners.

• Complete work in accordance with applicable electrical codes and safety standards.

• Manage service calls and maintain accurate work orders and service records.

• Help homeowners understand electrical system care, safe operation, and maintenance.

• Keep work areas clean and organized and care for tools and equipment.

• Stay current with electrical code changes, equipment, and industry practices.

• Work professionally with customers and team members.

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid electrician’s license or certification.

• Proven residential electrical service experience, including troubleshooting, repairs, and installations.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, wiring methods, and applicable codes.

• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.

• Ability to organize service calls, manage time, and work independently.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Ability to perform essential job duties in varied work environments and confined spaces, with or without reasonable accommodation.
