Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Residential HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and service residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to recommend appropriate repair and replacement solutions while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential HVAC equipment, including:- Air conditioners

    • Heat pumps
    • Gas furnaces
    • Air handlers
    • Mini-split systems
    • Thermostats and controls
  • Perform seasonal maintenance and system tune-ups.

  • Identify equipment issues and explain repair options to homeowners.

  • Present repair and replacement recommendations when appropriate.

  • Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

  • Test electrical components, refrigerant charge, airflow, combustion, and system performance.

  • Recover, evacuate, and recharge refrigerant in accordance with EPA regulations.

  • Maintain accurate service records, invoices, and job documentation using company software.

  • Follow all company safety procedures and local building codes.

  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory.

  • Participate in an on-call rotation as required.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the company professionally.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience.
  • EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal preferred).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience servicing a wide variety of residential HVAC equipment.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and manufacturer specifications.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and confined spaces.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
