PRIMARY RESPONSBILITIES
- Prepare equipment for repairing by pressure washing, blasting, painting etc.
- Check all structural and mechanical components for defects
- Make any necessary repairs and replace broken parts
- Calibrate equipment and paint exterior surfaces
- Assist in shipping and inventory related matters
- Assist in training new shop personnel
- Provide assistance to others in difficult repair tasks
- Knowledge of rig floor and pressure control equipment
- Perform other work related tasks as assigned
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Minimum 4 years heavy equipment manufacturing or repair experience
- Minimum 4 years hydraulic experience, either in manufacturing or repair
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- 1-3 years experience with hydraulics
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Mechanically inclined
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent people skills with the ability to be a team-player
- Great verbal and oral communication skills
- Physically able to stand, bend, lift items over head, and crouch for short periods
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 12 hours per day
