As the Rental Manager supporting our operations in Northbrook, you'll take on full responsibility for all activities of our production to ensure customer work is properly planned, produced, and completed to meet or exceed Derse's standard margins. The Rental Manager additionally acts as the main point of contact for all Rental staff within the Northbrook facility, and will effectively manage staff's day-to-day operations. Rental Manager Responsibilities

• Manage oversight of all Rental depot personnel and assigned projects, ensuring compliance, quality of work, and satisfaction
• Assume responsibility for Rental depot job variances and budget variances
• Prepare monthly operational financial report for Rental Director, including job variances, budget variances, and all local Rental depot projects
• Prepare weekly production capacity report for Rental Director and obtain for overtime work for all local Rental depot projects
• Provide solutions to minimize unnecessary overtime work, and provide collaborative problem solving to project variances
• Review all pending incoming local Rental projects and evaluate impact on depot production capacity and schedule
• Assign and monitor projects amongst direct reports, providing backup as needed
• Work in tandem with Rental Director on future growth planning 
• Maintain Rental local depot production flow efficiency within corporate guidelines
• Take ownership responsibilities of Rental local depot inventory, including; Accurate & complete inventory software system, Regular cycle counts to understand component turns & inventory levels, Relief of Rental asset accounts against purchases
• Provide clear instruction and practice of company policy and procedures for direct reports (i.e. attendance)
• Assist and/or lead training oversight for new and current direct reports within Rental depot, providing necessary mentoring
• In conjunction with Human Resources and Rental leadership, advocate for staff while adhering to principles and regulations of employment law and Derse specific policy
• Other duties may be required due to future growth planning and business needs

Requirements

Rental Manager Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; or 8+ yrs related experience in Trade Show industry; or equivalent combination of both required.
• Prior experience supervising or managing a team required. 
• Ability to read, analyze, and/or draft financial statements and reports required   
• Proficiency within Microsoft Excel, and MS Office required.
• Ability to travel as needed for internal meetings, client commitments, etc. Travel is considered moderate.

Salary and Benefits Information

• Salary Range: $88,000.00 to $110,000.00 Annually.
