·Restore equipment to OEM specifications by repairing or replacing defective components and assemblies.

·Identify root causes of equipment failures using systematic troubleshooting methodologies.

·Conduct proactive, unscheduled drop-in visits to customer sites to evaluate machinery condition and reliability.

·Assess wear components and system performance, recommending replacement parts, upgrades, or corrective actions.

·Provide technical input to support parts sales, service proposals, and equipment upgrades.

·Document all service activities through detailed service reports, failure analysis reports, and parts usage documentation.

·Maintain compliance with electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and customer site safety requirements.

·Stay current with automation technologies, industrial controls standards, and company product updates.

Technical Qualifications & Experience

·Post-secondary diploma or degree in electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, or automation-related discipline.

·Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience servicing industrial machinery.

·Intermediate knowledge of electrical schematics, control panels, and industrial wiring practices.

·Working knowledge of Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC platforms, HMIs, and VFDs.

·Proven ability to troubleshoot control systems, sensors, motors, drives, and safety circuits.

·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical troubleshooting approach.

·Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.

·Comfort working long hours under variable schedules with no fixed daily start or end times.

·Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.
