Job Overview:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct reliability tests using environmental chambers
  • Perform parametric testing of VCSEL devices
  • Set up test fixturing for chambers and parametric tests
  • Work with equipment engineering and service contractors to ensure equipment repair and calibration
  • Work with reliability engineers on development and execution of qualification plans
  • Some test data analysis with calculations in Excel or JMP
  • Track material through test flows including through the factory

Education & Experience

  • 2 Year College Degree (Associate or Equivalent)
  • Expected 2+ Years of Related Experience

Skills

  • MS office suite: Excel, Word, Powerpoint
  • Reliability analysis software: JMP or Reliasoft Weibull++/Alta or similar

Working Conditions

  • Work in a class 100/1000 clean room all day
  • Wear full cleanroom attire (smock, mask, etc.)
  • Ability to interpret optical/electrical data
  • Capability of using analytical test equipment (e.g. microscopes, testers, etc.)
  • Organizational skill to keep track of many different test groups with serialized parts and data

Physical Requirements

  • Stand for extended periods of time (up to 4 hours at a time)
  • Dexterity to handle wafers and components without damage
  • Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend and twist to gown up in cleanroom attire. 
  • Push/pull 10 lbs.
