We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Regional Welder to join our team in Irmo, SC, 29063. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and integrity of our welding projects across the region. -All travel costs are covered and per diem is involved. More information will be given throughout the interview process.

-A company vehicle is given.

-You do not have to be directly located in Irmo. Anyone in the South Carolina area is encouraged to apply.

-Mechanical work does come with the position. Experience with install, takeaway, or repair of any type of mechanical machinery would make you a strong candidate for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding tasks on various materials,
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while operating welding equipment.
  • Conduct quality inspections of welds to ensure they meet industry standards and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance welding skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding preferred.
  • Proven experience as a welder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, Flux, and Stick welding.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different job sites as needed.
