M&K Truck Centers is looking for an experienced Regional Used Truck Sales Manager to lead and grow our used truck business across parts of Minnesota and Iowa, with the role based out of Des Moines, IA.
This position leads used truck sales, inventory, and reconditioning efforts, working closely with sales teams and technicians to move trucks to the front line quickly and profitably. You’ll play a hands on role in deal support, pricing, trade evaluations, and team performance while traveling between locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support used truck sales teams and technicians across MN and IA
Drive sales volume, gross profit, and overall department performance
Own used truck P&L results and manage expenses within your region
Schedule and prioritize reconditioning work to reduce time to market
Work deals with salespeople, set pricing, provide trade values, and help close business
Review inventory, aging, and sales activity; report results to leadership
Travel between locations (including Elk River, MN and Des Moines, IA) to support sales teams and inspect inventory
Ensure inventory listings, advertising, and CRM activity are accurate and up to date
Maintain high standards for customer service, compliance, and internal processes
Qualifications
2–5 years of sales management experience in commercial trucks or automotive
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable
Knowledge of used truck pricing, reconditioning, and inventory management
Experience working deals, managing margins, and reviewing financial performance
Comfortable traveling between locations
Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
CDL preferred, but not required
