We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual with a strong scientific background and leadership skills to join our launch team as the Regional Cardiovascular Lead Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented, results-driven leader to guide an experienced, high-performing team of representatives who engage scientific and clinical leaders in the cardiovascular market.
In this role, you will lead and manage the Regional Cardiovascular Lead team, driving customer engagement strategy and execution within the US Pharma - Chronic Care business. Your primary responsibilities will include supervising the team's activities, shaping executional strategies and engaging with key stakeholders and customers to ensure the team's success in meeting sales objectives.
This is a field-based position that spans the Western and Central United States.
The major workload centers in this district include Pacific Northwest, California, Texas, Rockies, Chicago and Ohio Valley
Candidates must be willing to travel within their assigned geography, including overnight travel, as well as attend scientific conferences and meetings at headquarters.
The Regional Cardiovascular Lead Manager will report directly to the Director of the Regional Cardiovascular Lead Team.
Primary Responsibilities:
People Management:
Lead and guide Regional Cardiovascular Leads (RCLs), providing direction and support in shaping and executing customer engagement strategies to meet and exceed business objectives.
Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing and customer-centric RCL team.
Work with RCLs on a consistent basis to evaluate impact, maximize performance, and achieve successful business outcomes.
Observe customer interactions and provide training, coaching, and counseling on performance expectations.
Reskill and upskill, professional growth, development, and career advancement.
Promote inclusivity and foster a culture of psychological safety and belonging.
Customer Engagement
Foster relationships with scientific and clinical leaders, contributing to the development of our presence among HCP leaders in the cardiovascular field.
Proactively engage in approved and deep scientific discussions with customers, building credibility and gathering actionable customer insights.
Stay up to date in the cardiovascular field by attending key scientific conferences and society meetings to engage customers.
Collaborate with other customer-facing colleagues to create connections across teams within the designated geography.
Partner with marketing and training to design content for engagement with scientific and clinical leaders.
Work closely with region teams and counterparts to understand critical issues and opportunities.
Business Operations
Manage and deploy resources to ensure achievement of objectives, including budget, ensuring appropriate return on investment.
Make local and customized resource allocation decisions to support optimal business results.
Proactively identify and create opportunities to drive business results.
Work closely with HQ brand teams ensuring appropriate field and customer inputs are provided to ongoing brand strategies.
Inform and influence the development of national strategies and tactics as a participating member on cross-functional teams.
Develop strategic plans by integrating information received from multiple scientific and clinical leaders. Through collaboration, align to performance objectives, monitor and adjust the strategic plan, as necessary.
Maintain accountability and adhere to our Company’s business practices, regulatory policies, legal requirements, and compliance guidelines.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with 6-8 years Sales experience, to include leading teams
Equivalent experience can be leadership experience in the healthcare/scientific field (including pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical devices) or professional marketing experience.
Strong presentation and communication skills, including the ability to understand, distill, and convey complex scientific and public health-related concepts to audiences.
Strong collaboration and prioritization skills and ability contextualize decisions into broader corporate strategies.
Technologically proficient (e.g., MS Office Suite, iPad).
Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a motor vehicle.
Travel and overnights will be required for company and customer meetings.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, PharmD).
5+ years current/recent experience in the Cardiovascular market.
5+ years current/recent experience with Cardiovascular products.
3+ years of Scientific and Clinical Leader Engagement experience in the healthcare industry.

The salary range for this role is
$173,200.00 - $272,600.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
