Recycling & Scrap Laborer

Pay: $18.00/hour base pay + $2.00/hour shift differential for 2nd Shift + up to $2.00/hour performance incentive

Job Overview

We're hiring Recycling & Scrap Laborers to join a busy industrial recycling operation. In this hands-on role, you'll use hand tools and cutting equipment to process recycled automotive materials for the next stage of production. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy physical work and are comfortable in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools, saws, and cutting equipment.

• Disassemble and sort recycled materials.

• Separate scrap from reusable materials.

• Move and organize processed materials.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

• Follow all safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in an industrial, construction, manufacturing, landscaping, or scrap yard environment.

• Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.

• Ability to perform repetitive, physical work in a dirty industrial environment.

• Ability to lift and move materials throughout the day.

• Must own steel toe boots.

• Must pass a math and matching assessment.

• Reliable with strong attendance.
