About the Position

We are seeking a Receiving Lead to support our unloading and quality control teams.  The position will report to the receiving supervisor and provides guidance to the materials handling team by delegating duties and ensuring that all products are accurately received and inspected. What you can do for us:

  • Lead and manage unloading and QC teams for ocean containers, air shipments, RMAs, and personal package deliveries.
  • Ensure accurate receiving of all inbound shipments, including documenting proof of delivery and noting any damages.
  • Identify product requiring repair and ensure items are routed to Repairs with appropriate RTS tickets created.
  • Ensure all containers and inbound inventory are properly received and processed in Sage X3.
  • Coordinate with the Import Coordinator on container slotting, processing timelines, and dock scheduling.
  • Manage barcode scanning of inbound product; re-label items as needed and communicate recurring issues to Production.
  • Support efficient order fulfillment by moving correct backordered quantities to dock locations for quick picking.
  • Communicate daily with Front Office regarding priority items requiring expedited processing.
  • Provide feedback on optimal put-away locations, including recommendations for items to be stored closer to or farther from the dock.
  • Ensure pallets are properly wrapped and secured for high storage when applicable.
  • Coordinate labor with other departments for large-scale QC, re-labeling, or re-boxing projects.
  • Maintain current SOPs and ensure the team is trained on all updates and revisions.
  • Promote and enforce a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and Facilities policies.
  • Assist with special warehouse projects as needed.
  • Oversee functional, administrative, and performance management of the receiving and QC teams.
  • Approve time off and overtime, manage scheduling, and ensure accurate timekeeping in Paylocity.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching and feedback, and administer corrective action as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience in a receiving or warehouse environment, preferably in a lead or supervisory capacity.
  • Working knowledge of the AHD receiving process or similar inbound logistics workflows.
  • Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Sage X3 (or similar ERP systems).
  • Proven leadership and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; as well as reach with hands and arms. 

· The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. 

· Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.

· Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.

· Required to use stairwells to attend meetings and engage with employees on multiple floors throughout building.

Compensation

Starting base pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
