Receiving Associate 1st shift-Chardon, OH

We have an opportunity for a Receiving Associate1st to join our Chardon, OH team. You will receive, move, and store materials; verify shipments and maintain accurate inventory records; support material flow throughout the facility; operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment; and help maintain a safe, organized work environment.

You will:

• Operate machinery like forklifts or pallet jacks to unload, move, and store items.
• Compare shipment contents with invoices, manifests, or shipping orders and enter data into ERP systems.
• Label items, maintain stock records, and ensure accuracy.
• Obtain and maintain tow motor license, required.
• Receive raw materials as required.
• Support Material Flow through Chardon campus as needed.
• Implement and sustain adherence to market 5S standards per the market 5S checklist.

Key Qualifications:

• Have strong communication skills.
• Have at least 3 years of lift truck experience
• Have the ability to work at a fast pace and in a changing work environment
• Be able to organize and have a strong attention to detail
• Be a self-starter and able to work with little supervision
• Component, assembly and kitting knowledge preferred
• JDE experience, preferred.
• Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50 pounds. Steel-toed shoes are required.

Position Shift/Hours:

• 1st shift: 6:45am – 5:15pm Monday – Friday

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $20.50/hr. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.

**Hiring Bonus**

• $1000 Hiring Bonus- The hiring bonus is payable at $500 after 90 days and $500 after 6 months of employment. This amount will be subject to repayment in full if your employment with Pentair terminates at any time within one year of your hire date.
