Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Receiving Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for safely receiving, organizing, and moving materials throughout the facility while ensuring accurate inventory tracking. The ideal candidate has previous manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to operate forklifts/reach trucks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift and/or reach truck to unload, move, and stage incoming materials
• Transport product throughout the facility to the appropriate locations
• Accurately enter order numbers and shipment information into computer systems for inventory tracking
• Measure materials using a tape measure and verify product specifications
• Assist other areas within the Receiving department as needed
• Identify and troubleshoot shipment discrepancies or incorrect information
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment preferred
• Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Forklift certification or previous forklift/reach truck experience preferred
• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately
• Comfortable using computers for inventory and data entry
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and work on your feet throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
