Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Technician with experience in LabVIEW to join our dynamic team in our Sugar Land, TX location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated systems and equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize automation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated systems using LabVIEW.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of automated equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve automation processes.
  • Develop and implement test procedures for automated systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Document all work and maintain accurate records of system configurations and changes.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s in Electronics or Automation Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with LabVIEW.
  • Strong understanding of automation systems and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with PLC programming and other automation software.
  • Experience in Modbus
  • Knowledge of industrial control systems and instrumentation.
  • Certification in LabVIEW or related automation technologies.
