Team Summary

Job Summary
We are looking for a R&D Technician II who will perform analysis on sample material, perform various testing activities, and communicate results effectively

Essential Duties

  • Evaluate roofing and building materials for quality performance characteristics

  • Report meaningful and unbiased conclusions based on evaluations

  • Assist in root cause investigations

  • Assist in raw material qualifications

  • Perform chemical and physical property testing and experiments

  • Maintain documentation accurately and completely

  • Maintain laboratory equipment in an operable and calibrated condition

  • Assure all activities are performed safely

  • Contribute to Job Safety Analysis and Standard Operating Procedure development


Qualifications Required

  • Associate’s Degree (AA) 2 + years of relevant experience

  • 2 + years of experience as a lab technician in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience with material science, statistics, and quality functions

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suites

Qualifications Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in science or engineering

Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.

Base Salary Range: $48,006-$66,009
