Aftermarket Materials Handler

POSITION SUMMARY
The Aftermarket Materials Handler will pull, pack, and ship orders received by the Aftermarket Sales Representatives. They will communicate to the sales teams on order updates, company stock order statuses, and complete intercompany transfers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Receive tickets from Aftermarket Sales representatives and pull parts to fill corresponding orders.
- Package parts for shipment to designated customers.
- Confirm accuracy with Aftermarket Sales representatives.
- Ship all aftermarket orders in the most cost effective and timely manner.
- Communicate back to Aftermarket Sales personnel and customers tracking numbers for each order.
- Actively updates the CRM system with information regarding order and backorder status.
- Works with shipping to optimize parts shipments and reduce shipping times.
- Work closely with warehouse management to ensure timely and accurate order shipments.
- Ensure all orders are entered into Rosenbauer’s defined CRM system.
- Update ticket changes to both quote requests and purchase orders in a timely and frequent manner.
- Conduct frequent and documented communications with Aftermarket Sales regarding ticket status.
- Communicates parts needs and changes in demand to the Aftermarket Manager frequently.
- Actively shares knowledge with fellow associates and helps team members to succeed.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the company.

- Background with parts distribution, warehouse functions, or customer service.
- Firetruck knowledge.
Position Requirements:

- Ability to obtain forklift certification and ATV license.
- Valid driver's license.
