Job Description * Learning of Basic Stick Welding Knowledge * Assistance in General Rail Car Repair Operations * Support in Handling of Materials During Repairs * Operation of Certain Shop Equipment and Mechanical Hand Tools * Limited Welding Under Close Supervision * Routine Maintenance Work * Development of Basic Skills in Car Repair Through On-the-Job Experience * Assistance in Car Rail Shop Maintenance * Basic Cutting and Welding * Uncoupling Lever Removal and Replacing * Coupler Removal and Dismantling * Brake Levers Removal and Replacing * Car Jacking * Supervised Truck Repair * AEI Tags Removal and Updating * Certifying Rail Car Welding Positions (1G Flat and 2G Horizontal) Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * Health insurance Experience level: * 1 years Schedule: * 10 hour shift Experience: * Mechanic experience: 1 year (Preferred) * Hand tools: 1 year (Preferred) * MIG or Stick welding: 1 year (Preferred) * Brake repair: 1 year (Preferred)
