Position Summary:

Xylem is looking for a Water Treatment Field Service Technician to report to our Alpharetta, GA branch and service our equipment at customer sites in the surrounding area.

What your day will look like as a Water Treatment Field Service Technician:

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of our water purification equipment. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous technical/mechanical/plumbing experience is especially encouraged.

This position has general day shift hours with overtime opportunities and a compensated on-call rotation with occasional afternoons/weekends.

Position Requirements for Water Treatment *Field* Service Technicians:

  • HS diploma or equivalent

  • 2-5 years technical experience in municipal, industrial or commercial process water experience, or equivalent experience working with other industrial and commercial equipment and their mechanical and electrical components

  • Experience with Microsoft office, including the ability to utilize smart devices

  • Ability to work in a high customer facing position

  • Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns

  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and DOT physical

  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 50% or more daily travel
