Summary

Are you ready to join a growing manufacturing organization where you can support research and development through laboratory experimentation, pilot trials, product testing, process development, and full-scale production trials? This opportunity offers the chance to work closely with engineering and technology teams to develop new products, improve manufacturing processes, and support innovation from concept through production.

As a R&D Technician You Will:

  • Execute pilot trials using pilot production equipment to support product and process development.

  • Perform physical and chemical testing on raw materials and product prototypes according to established procedures.

  • Record, analyze, summarize, and report laboratory and production test data.

  • Review and modify test methods to improve data accuracy and effectiveness.

  • Assist with scaling new products from pilot operations to full-scale manufacturing.

  • Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and documentation.

  • Participate in production trials by collecting samples, monitoring checkpoints, and supporting machine trials.

  • Operate, maintain, and train on specialized laboratory and production equipment.

  • Prepare standardized reports and communicate results to engineering and technology teams.

  • Work safely while complying with all company policies and ITAR requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

  • Experience with laboratory testing, product development, or process development preferred.

  • Ability to operate pilot or production equipment.

  • High mechanical aptitude with strong math and science skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent observation and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder required to comply with ITAR regulations.

  • Six Sigma Green Belt and experience processing elastomeric strands are preferred.

Education

  • Associate's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field required.

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.

$30.00 per hour
