We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Quoting/Estimating Specialist in Steel Fabricating at our facility located in Villa Park, IL, 60181. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our operations by providing accurate quotes and estimates for our steel fabrication projects. Responsibilities

Review project specifications and requirements to prepare accurate estimates.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to gather necessary information for quotes.
Ability to read drawings/ prints
Ability to quote for Laser Cutting operations
Utilize estimating software and tools to generate detailed proposals.
Communicate with clients to clarify project details and address any questions.
Maintain organized records of estimates and project documentation
Assist in the development of standard estimating procedures and best practices.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is a plus.
Proven experience in estimating or quoting within the steel fabrication industry.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Knowledge of steel fabrication processes and materials is preferred.
Engineering/ programming skills a plus
