A leading technology company is seeking aQuality Technicianto support manufactured and externally sourced components that will later be assembled into test equipment. The company offers a family-oriented culture and environment!

Quality TechnicianResponsibilities:

Specific duties include: mechanical measurement of precision milled, turned, chemical milled, wire EDM, gun drilled, plated, laser machined, and other specialty processes used in the production of high-frequency electronic components.
Responsible for the direct application of technical skills.
Clarify, analyze, develop, and implement actions and solutions while supporting business directives, adhering to the highest professional standards.

Quality TechnicianQualifications:

2-5 years in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
Associates' or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent field experience
Must have a Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) background, with the ability to read and interpret 2D drawings and 3D models.
Must have experience with mechanical metrology hand tool usage (calipers, micrometers, gages).
Strong PC (MS Windows/Office) skills are a must.
Requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
Demonstrates mechanical competence and can solve technical problems of limited scope and complexity.
Exhibits the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with a wide range of people.
Maintains high workmanship standards and delivers on commitments.
Preference given to candidates with:

Experience in ISO9001, AS9100 with recognized certifications ASQ-CMI-CQI

Experience with ANSI Z540.3, ISO 17025

Hands-on experience with the operation of CMM, Optical Interferometry equipment, and precision gages

Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine and Optical Surface Profilers.

3D modeling knowledge with NX, Solidworks, or other software.

Experience with SPC software and data analysis approaches.

Shift:

Swing: 2 pm - 10:30 pm.
