Summary/Objective:

Flow Management Device’s Quality Department is seeking a hands-on Quality Technician Level II to support incoming and final inspection for our Prover Product Line. This role involves detailed inspection tasks, product testing, and auditing. The technician will prioritize and manage time effectively based on shifting priorities and initiatives. They will work closely with the Quality, Engineering, and Operation teams ensuring high standards and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Essential Duties:

  • Comply with safe work methods, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform safety related tasks and inspections.
  • Inspect incoming products to documented requirements, such as engineering drawings, inspection test plans, and first articles.
  • Record inspection results in the MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system.
  • Compile and prepare certificates from suppliers that are part of the data package shipped to the customer.
  • Perform in-process inspection of sub-assemblies in manufacturing.
  • Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) on small volume provers, including gravimetric water draw, hydrostatic pressure, and flow tests.
  • Perform internal audits and compile audit reports.
  • Monitor equipment calibration and re-calibration.
  • Ability to perform tasks with minimum supervision.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Associate degree or vocational school certificate preferred.
  • 4+ Years Quality Experience (3+ years must be manufacturing related)
  • Advanced proficiency with hand inspection tools (e.g., calipers, ID/OD micrometer, pi tape, height gauge, drop/pin/thread gauges).
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Adobe, MRP, and JDE a Plus).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints/drawings.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 17025:2017, or equivalent accreditation experience
  • Experience performing product calibration and/or testing.
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Higher preferred
  • Experience performing ISO 9001:2015 Audits.
  • Experience with Operating Handheld CMM preferred
